So the next CD I will translate is 狂気幻想グリムガルド (Kyoukigensou Grimgard) by -LostFairy-. I shall call it "Grimgard" for short. This CD is one of my favourite doujin CDs ever. Especially the second track is too lovely, Chopin's Fantaisie Impromptu... Noël are you a genius? Yes you are!
If you have not heard anything of the CD yet, here is the crossfade:
The CD is a little pricey, as it contains 4 original songs, 3 rehashed songs and 8 tracks of voice drama. One of the reasons for you to buy the CD might be that the voice of Melusine is done by THE Uesaka Sumire! You can buy the CD digitally here (booth)
The CD is again part of a trilogy. The main characters Melusine and Colette were introduced in their own CD's before. The purple haired Melusine (Princess of the Abyss) was introduced in the CD 呪われし亡国のメフィストフェレス and the brunette Colette (Mysterious Girl) was introduced in 不思議な少女のオペレッタ. In this CD these two characters meet. I need to find a way to buy those CDs digitally and find scans for them. If I can find the scans then I can work on both CDs. For now I think I have enough information to decipher this CD. The three rehash tracks are also rehashes on Colette's story as far as I know. Anyway, I tried to decipher the story and wrote the contents of every story track in a post named "Story". To not spoil everything, I will not write down the script, 1. I want you to have a listen and enjoy it yourself, 2. I do not feel confident enough to do that!

How I feel about this CD? As said in the introduction, I was very very impressed by the second track,
I even made my own version of it, which I shall link when I have finished my translation! The story was also enjoyable, the voice acting is well done. The rehashes of the songs sound way better than in the crossfade of the original CD and the original songs sound good as well. Overall this is one of my favourite Doujin albums ever. It is so amazing, I am at loss for words.
The order of my preference of the songs is 02>>04>08>06>14>10>12 (see the tracklist below). I still like song 12 a lot, but it is inferior to all other songs. 10 has the right amount of darkness, but I prefer faster songs with a very nice beat. The fast part in the 4th song is awesome (幻想を超えて...), because of that awesome performance it became my favourite song after 02, which nothing can top!! The Re Storia songs are generally better than their original tracks in Colette's CD, I prefer the voice of Sayu over that of Hato, some of the parts were instrumentally improved as well.
