This song is about the holy maiden who endlessly devotes her prayers/love songs (Minnesang) to the eternal world and has to bear with living for a long time, witnessing countless lives being created and dying off. This makes the girl sad and question her existence. This song basically lives up the title of the album.

Prière is French for "prayer" by the way :).

that I will never forget... this "White vow"

アルビノの騎士 (Albino no Kishi) - Knight of Albino - Romaji and Translation

Wow... This is a strong song. I imagine a fierce battle field when I think of this song. It's about a hero/knight who wants to reclaim the world for the people by defeating the Gods of Asgard. Asgard is kind of "the kingdom of the sky where the gods live" in Norse mythology. Humans live in "Midgard". The knight is probably an albino, someone with few pigments in his/her skin. I imagine the scene in this song to be clouded in darkness until the knight defeats the gods, then light is released over the world.

I imagine that the "Last Destiny" is the destiny of the knight, to defeat the gods who rule over the world.  The "Lost Destiny" is  that humans can live freely on the world again, not being ruled by gods anymore. Light is released upon the world and the knight dies due to being an albino and not being able to handle light well and due to his/her wounds of fighting the gods. 

This song also appears in the Valkyria album, lyrics unchanged, but sung by Katakiri Rekka. Hence that album is tagged too.

Translation note:
- 刹那の命尽きるまで この身を突き刺す　眩い光
I have had great trouble translating this line. I had two interpretations:
- 刹那の命 can mean "A life that lasts just a moment", compared to the Gods, humans live a fraction of the time that they have been alive.
or
- For just a tiny moment, as in a 1/75th second to be precise
With the current translation I have left this ambiguous.

Yggdrasill - Romaji and Translation

Wait what? 13 posts on the 24th already? Is Lucky not lazy this time? Well... They probably reverse my permission to use legacy blogger today, so I just try to output as many posts as possible with legacy blogger.

This song is about the worldtree "Yggdrasill" to which the girl (Stella or a previous reincarnation of her) devotes prayers. It's an ethnic style song with an air of grace to it. The song is a kind of window composition. Inside the song, a story is told about how long the Yggdrasill has lived and that she devotes prayers to it. There is not much else to say about the song as it is pretty straightforward to me. 

This song is also featured in the 10th CD, but instead of being sung by Hato, it's sung by Sayu. I think both versions are likable. Ethnic is not entirely my thing but oh well, the composition is not bad at all. I really like the harmonies at "の欠片" in both versions.

Translation notes:

- 幾多の巡り合わせ -> literally translates to something like numerous chances, but it makes no sense
- 世界樹　-> World Tree, in norse mythology it's named "Yggdrasill" (see title of the song). It is a huuuuge tree that connects worlds.
- 永久に続く　世界樹が織りなす幻想に　祈り捧げ・・・, According to the lyrics, the girl devotes her prayers to the "fantasies", but I actually expect she devotes them to the Yggdrasill

-  Interpretation of these 2 stanza:
神秘の森の大樹に　その息吹は宿るという, I interpret this as something similar to 神秘の森の息吹 大樹に宿るという
静かな刻の大地に　その息吹は宿るという, goes the same for,  静かな刻の息吹は 大地に宿るという,

Before I post the translations of the Grimoire CD I will make a presentation page for Minnesang and Fragment and maybe even that of the Valkyria CD. There is too much overlap between the Fragment and Valkyria CDs, both of these CDs feature remakes of songs from Minnesang and Grimoire.

Minnesang is the 3rd CD and tells the story of Stella('s previous reincarnation). I think this cover art is so beautiful! The holiness of the girl is so prominent, I love how the wings look and I love the background as well.

This CD is very ethnic, yet it sounds pretty nice in my opinion. I prefer metal songs, but this CD definitely captures "-LostFairy-" for me as well. Hato's voice complements the compositions very well. The order in which I prefer the songs is 2>1>3. 2 has a heavier beat than 1 and 3, that is why it is my favourite out of the 3 ;). The tragedy captured in song 2 is also a major reason why I like it so much. Like the 2nd CD, there is no voice track that explains the backstory
