"Seeking the Bluebird of [Happiness]..., wandering through stories, I realised it."

That is the opening quote of this song. This song describes the past of Colette, who is a mysterious girl who can wander through stories. She went on a trip to discover what happiness was, to find hers... because the people in written stories lost their future because their story ended. But on the trip she realised, her happiness was actually what she had been doing all the time. The symbolism of the "Bluebird" is used to portray joy and happiness that is going to visit you in the future. Thus, Colette was following hers, but came to the realisation that the Bluebird itself wasn't leading her to somewhere she could be happy, but it guided her to the path of self realisation and a bright future. Colette could look forward for everyday to come in her own story, instead of written stories with an end.

This song actually reminds me of one of the games I played, Fire Emblem Fates, there is a support conversation between Ophelia and Shigure's Support, in which Ophelia is seeking a legendary bird who enchants everyone who hears its songs.... and at the end Ophelia realises that the legendary bird had been beside her all the time and she has found her way to love... 

During my translation, I came to love the lesson of this story: the outcome is not the only important thing, the trips you have taken to come to an outcome is even more important.

For my translation: I translated this from Colette's point of view, who has as epithet "Mysterious girl".

"What kind of scenery can you see inside those eyes that are filled with hope?"

I was softly guided by a gentle voice

"The future after the travel of loneliness, how much meaning would it have?"
