幸せな私の追憶 (shiawase na watashi no tsuioku) - Reminiscence of my Happy Times - Romaji and translation

The second song is called "Reminiscence of my Happy Times". This song can be connected to the second song in Maisery, which is called "Deep Red Reminiscence" which describes the memories of the bloody queen. At the beginning I kind of disliked the song, but after working on the translation, it really grew on me. In this song the past of the girl is described. She was abandoned because of sickness and nobody had interest in her. One day an eldery couple adopted her and she lived with them happily. One day they gave her a mirror and she was incredibly happy. Yet, the loneliness in her spread again when the couple went on a trip, she then performed the ritual of summoning.... as described in song 1 of this cd. Mary comes out of the mirror and promises to be her friend, on one condition, she must give her blood (not neccesarily hers as you will see in song 3 and 4.....).

やせ細る身体を震わせても、誰も興味を抱かないと

I was abandoned at young age.  I became so thin that my body trembled, nobody had interest in hugging me, I knew it from the very start. Only because of an "eldery couple (them)" that I met, stretched out their hand to me with kindness. The world up until then burst open and disappeared.
They gave me a place to belong, their laugh was as bright as light

The "couple (them)" told tales about their travels, which sent my heart aflutter and I laughed


その日は　「それだけじゃないよ」　と、大きな鏡
渡された“贈り物”にはしゃぎ、咳き込んだ私を
心配そうに見つめて　「古い物だけど、気に入ったなら良かった」　と笑っていた

I was so happy with the present that I suddenly started coughing violently
They looked at me with a sorrowful look, but then they replied while smiling「Even though it is old, we are happy that you like it」

心ざわついてた私だけど、鏡の前なら落ち着いた
透明な世界を写す鏡の中は、もう一人の私が笑いかけた
表裏一体の私の姿、何よりも美しかった・・・・・・

"The eldery couple (them)" went on a trip, and I was alone again, my days were absorbed in loneliness.
My heart became noisy and I could only calm down in front of the mirror
The transparent world that was reflected inside mirror.... in there was another me that grinned
The image in the mirror that was inseperable from my own existence was more beautiful than anything.......

割れた鏡の向こう側に、血塗れた　『彼女』
現れたその姿見つめて、優しく微笑んだ
「やっと呼び出してくれた」　と冷たく笑う
驚いた心の隙間にとり憑いた・・・・・・

The mirror shattered and on the other side there was, a 『girl』covered in blood
I looked at the figure that just appeared, and I smiled gently
 「Finally you called out for me」she laughed coldly
And she made her way into my astonished heart via a crevice and took over...

『She』who made an entrance and was obsessed by the red and warm fresh blood
And I, who wanted friends to play with


『さぁ　これからは二人で、命尽きるまで　最高の“血祭り”を楽しみましょう？』
『saa kore kara wa futari de, inochi tsukiru made saikou no "party" wo tanoshimimashou?』
『Come, from now until your body wears out, shall we enjoy the best "bloodbath" together? 』

I couldn't understand exactly what Yura sings, but it kinda sounded like "épistole"
