鮮血に捧ぐ三度目の黒鏡 (Senketsu ni sasagu sandome no Kokkyou) CD, Hatsuki Yura x Symholic

Hello everyone, it has been a while. As indicated in a previous post I have started on the transcription and translation of 鮮血に捧ぐ三度目の黒鏡, for short I now call it Sandome or Senketsu!

Bloody Mary... Bloody Mary... Bloody.... Mary.... *sounds of a mirror shattering*
This CD is about a girl with poor health, who catches the rumour of Bloody Mary. The girl is very frail and thin and thus the girl is possessed by Mary.... Then the second song barges in, telling about how the girl was abandoned, but then adopted by a kind eldery couple. She lived happily, until the day she realised she wanted more friends and summoned Mary through the ritual.... Mary takes over and only desires to see beautiful red blood! The girls goes crazy from the ringing voice in her head.... but finally she succombs and ascends to heaven.


So, this CD is linked to both Vengel and Maisery. It is the first entry in the trilogy. While translating this CD, I might discover links that will lead to me editing my Maisery posts.


The track list is as follows:

2.　幸せな私の追憶 (Shiawase na watashi no tsuioku)
3.　鮮血の斉唱 (Senketsu no seishou)
4.    血塗られた彼女の追憶  (Chinurareta kanojo no tsuioku)
5.    絶望の四重奏 (Zetsubou no Quartet)

I actually thought this was melody wise a pretty decent CD. Sadly Yura has given us better performances on other cds. The order in which I like the songs is as follows:
If I had to rate the songs I'd say 4>3>1>5>2. 4 was one of the first songs of Yura I had heard if I remember correctly. I am still attached to it, because it directly relates lyric wise to song 4 of Maisery (Senketsu ni sasageta joou.....). I think 2 is least catchy for me. This later changed, when I was transcribing I came to love this song!

Song 2 and 4 are inevitably linked, both songs are reminiscences, track 2 of the girl who summoned bloody mary, track 4 is that of Bloody Mary. Track 2 and 4 and 5 are also linked to the CD Maisery
I will translate the titles as follows:
1. The curse of the black mirror
2. The recollection of my happy times
3. Unison of fresh blood
4. The recollection of the blood smeared woman
5. The quartet of despair

 Edit 16/01/2021: Official title of the CD as licensed by Osu. It's not "kuro kagami" but it is "kokkyou"
