Maisery - Translation and Romaji

The final vocal track of this CD is the song "Maisery. This translation is pretty experimental in my opinion, since I am not sure if it is completely correct and if more stanzas should be connected.

This was one train of a song, the intertwining voicelines were very beautiful. The song is about Vengel and Mary fighting. Vengel tries to accomplish her tasks, by saving the girl. She wants to save her by freeing the evil spirit of Bloody Mary. They put up a fight, which is a really tough one. Vengel probably also sees something from Mary's own past, a déjà vu, which she tries to lock away. I think Vengel here tries to lock Mary and separate her from the girl, but she (Vengel) gets overwhelmed by the strength of the feeling and needs to continue fighting. Eventually she succeeds, the girl releases Mary and she becomes an angel. Mary wandered forever in her blood stained fate.

The black text is from the view of Bloody Mary/The girl Bloody Mary possesses (sung by Yura). The Magenta text is from the view of the Mechanical Angel/Vengel (sung by Lalue). To enhance reading comfort, I do not use blue colour for romaji neither do I use the red colour for translation.

I tied the girl in chains, to only restrain her soul
she let out a scream of intense sadness, while panicking, she begged for forgiveness

機械の天使が邪魔をして　未来を壊した

Just the two of us, in a wavering world, they believed it would continue into eternity
but the mechanical angel interfered, but I destroyed their future

A freezing laugh of  an 《evil spirit (ghost)》, it attempts to disturb the providence in this world
But, I turn back the hands of the clock and I look into her past

無垢な女王の心を　鮮血に染め上げた

The traces of grief and insanity hid in the shadow cladded in sin,
The pure heart of the queen was now fully dyed in fresh blood

Inside her head, a certain unlikely 《déjà vu》 becomes locked,

The hand of the pitiful girl was released from the evil spirit 
she was guided to the side of the god, and eventually she became an angel

過去を彷徨う永遠に　血塗られた運命を・・・・・・
kako wo samayou eien ni chinurareta unmei wo......

Eternally wandering in the past.... was the queen with her blood smeared fate.....

Translation notes:

- I took a lot of freedom in my translations, for example, using a perspective from both Vengel and Mary. I also translated many stanzas not so literally. Therefore I won't be making a remark on my translations of most stanza.

- 銀さんいればいい ( i can't catch what Yura says exactly)
ginsan irebaii) I think Yura refers to Vengel with silver, although it's a stretch. This is not in the booklet.

- The booklet dictates 開放, but I think 解放 is more logical.
