Noble Blood - Romaji and Translation

Imagine wanting to die... yet you were cursed at death's door to become a vampire. That is what happens to our poor girl. She wishes to die, probably it's a suicide, and then death reaper comes for her. Instead of dying and going to heaven/hell, she ends up as a high ranked vampire, being cursed with near eternal life in darkness. Talk about cruel!

akaku hikaru hitomi... sugata utsusu kage ga yurameite

Red glowing eyes… A shadow of a reflection flickers

宵闇のDystopia冷たい月の光
快楽を求め　血の衝動に従うまま　忍び寄る

yoiyami no Dystopia tsumetai tsuki no hikari
kairaku wo motome chi no shoudou ni shitagau mama shinobiyoru

A dystopia of dusk, the light of the cold moon
Those who thirst for blood, creep up, seeking pleasure…

誘う風の匂い・・・眠る孤独な城　その中に

sasou kaze no nioi... nemuru kodoku na shiro sono naka ni

The smell of the wind invites them… inside a lonely sleeping castle

宵闇のDystopia夢の淵を彷徨う
死神に魅入られた　哀れな少女が一人

A dystopia of dusk, a pitiful girl wandered in the abyss of her dreams
Bewitched by the grim reaper, she was all by herself

狂おしく咲き乱れる　薔薇のように美しく　そして儚く
懐かしい記憶が　少しだけ蘇る・・・

kuruuoshiku sakimidareru bara no you ni utsukushiku soshite hakanaku
natsukashii kioku ga sukoshi dake yomigaeru...

Blooming madly in profusion, beautifully like a rose, yet fleeting
She recalls nostalgic memories, only for a small moment

死に逝く運命　抗えずに滅びを待つ貴方は
恐れもせずでも消え去りそうな声で　語りかける

Having as fate “to die”, she fearlessly waited for destruction without resisting,
And with a seemingly fading voice the reaper spoke:

「空を見上げ　死を待つしかないのなら
どうか深い闇の世界へ　導いて・・・」

[sora wo miage shi wo matsushikanai no nara
douka fukai yami no sekai he michibiite...]

[If you look up to the sky and nothing but death is waiting,
You are somehow led to an even darker world…]

鮮血のDystopia鋭い牙を突き刺す
首筋から流れる　甘く香る紅い雫

senketsu no Dystopia surudoi kiba wo tsuki sasu
kubisuji kara nagareru amaku kaoru akai shizuku

A dystopia of fresh blood, sharp fangs pierced through
Sweetly scented red drops flowed from the back of her neck

絶望の先　貴方が「気高き血」の息吹で　生まれ変わる
光射す場所には　もう戻れない

zetsubou no saki anata ga 「kedakaki chi」 no ibuki de umarekawaru
hikari sasu basho ni wa mou modorenai

Beyond despair, you will be reborn in the breath of [Noble Blood],
you can no longer return to the place where light shines.

闇に堕ちた今宵は・・・
漆黒に染まり踊る　麗しき舞踏会

yami ni ochita koyoi wa...
kuro ni somari odoru uruwashiki butoukai

Tonight, you have fallen into darkness… and you shall dance at the lovely ball, dyed in jet
black.


Translation notes:
- 死に逝く運命　抗えずに滅びを待つ貴方は
恐れもせずでも消え去りそうな声で　語りかける

I have translated 貴方 as the death reaper, as the context suggests that he is the one talking to the girl. I have taken the sentences apart on the way stated above.

- 絶望の先
I have translated 先 as beyond. It is often not clear if the word refers to the situation before or after. From this stanza on it's again the death reaper talking to the girl.
