Anthology - Romaji and Translation

The first song is the LAST (I think, unless it's gonna be a The Final Season part 4 situation) -ology song. So we had Angelology -> Ghostology -> Demythology -> Orthology and finally Anthology.

An anthology is a collection of poems/songs/pieces of writing combined in one album/volume. So basically this song tells us the collection of the history of Lalue. It mentions her friend (see Vengel), her sins (all 4 cds), slaying her mother (demythology) and finally, meeting Xorsizer (X).  Pretty straight forward song I'd say with a pretty good melody and good vocal performance by my beloved Komatsu Rina.

Translation:

I had completed the final process God wanted me to complete,
and with the sword in my hand that would bring about the end of the world...
I met again with Michelle, an angel I once spent time with under God.

Translation notes:
かつて共に　神の下で仕えた
「《支配秩序》壊してくれたから　探していた」と
君はそう話した
I am unsure who this 君 might refer to. I first thought it must have been the sword and not Michelle, who is the other "you" that appears in the chorus. But then, I take into account that Michelle actually is a liar... so it as well could have been Michelle :thonks:


神の意志を - The will of God. I think it is involved in both the sentence before and after, hence I translate it twice, just imagine the sentence is formulated like:
「世界を統べる《最終兵器》
その手に握るなら　神の意志を 受け継ぐ
神の意志を 受け継ぐ天使が　奪いに来るだろう
安息の場所はもう無い」と
