魔瞳の噂 (Madou no Uwasa) - Rumour of an Evil Eye - Romaji and Translation

This song is about people gossiping about our Miko. She doesn't know of the gossip yet, but as she learns of it, she is shocked. It reminds me of a scene I translated long ago (from latin). It is about the goddess of rumour, Fama, that runs around the entire African continent to tell that queen Dido, who swore faith to her deceased husband, fell in love with the Trojan Aeneas. As she learned of the rumour, she suicided out of shame. Unlike Dido, this miko finds back what she had been seeking, the light within her.
In the first part, until "carried away by a rustling wind and the gossip I didn't know about reached me", the "I" is the rumour, after that the perspective is shifted to the miko.
