碧空に誓った終焉の剣 ( Hekikuu ni Chikatta Shuuen no Tsurugi) - CD Presentation page

Apparently I somehow thought that CD 1, 2 and 3 are a trilogy (once again, why do i start picking up stories at entry 3... (cries)), but Paspal told me that the stories could be enjoyed individually as well! Nevertheless I decided to translate the first 2 CDs. So here we go. CD presentation page for the 1st Symholic CD "碧空に誓った終焉の剣 ( Hekikuu ni Chikatta Shuuen no Tsurugi)". This CD was released almost 10 years ago!! This is still a preview page and things may change when I have translated the full CD.

I actually did not plan to translate this CD because I thought this CD was a bit... uhm... not so nice. I think the music is good, Paspal was like 20-21 when he made this CD, that is amazing, but the vocals are just really out of place. I'm not really a fan of Aosaki Shizuku. Her voice is a bit bland and idiosyncractic and fails to carry the heaviness of the story to me in some of the songs.

This CD tells the story of why the Swordswoman of Purgatory from Zahnrad took up the sword and started to fight. Haven't heard the XFD?

I think the order in which I like the songs is 5>2>4>1>3

Tracklist:

04 嘘と剣の契約 (Uso to Tsurugi no Keiyaku) - The Contract of Lies and Swords

05 君に捧ぐ終焉 (Kimi ni Sasagu Shuuen) - The End devoted to You
