Merry Christmas, as of writing it's Christmas Eve here.
Before I want to continue with my -LostFairy- work, I want to thank you all for reading my blog this year. It hasn't exactly been an easy year for me. I lost in love for the first time and crippling depression got me in the beginning of the year, losing motivation for everything, including singing, blog and even life. It took me almost the entire year to get off anti-depressants as well. My graduation project is going very mediocre and suffer from motivation problems. However, the end of the year got a little better. I did discover an awesome game franchise, the Legend of Heroes Trails series, it has inspiring music, wonderful characters and an intruiging story. I love the turn based combat, and I now also have a new favourite game character: Olivier Lenheim. I started making shitposts on Youtube. I borrowed a Virtual Reality headset and started to make videos in VR, et cetera et cetera. More importantly, I met so many awesome people who are worth living for, this includes you, blog readers. Thank you all for being there for me to make my year less shit.
The Autumn M3 of this year has been one of the most exciting M3's for me ever, a ton of good releases. I even made 13 posts JUST to hype on M3. I have listened to almost all releases I was hyped for now, ironically not Komatsu Rina's cuz broke..., and whew, I was not disappointed. So, especially having a -LostFairy- release, a Symholic x Xorsizer release, a Komatsu Rina release, it almost seemed like the stars alligned for me and said: Aurora, time to make the part of your name that is "Lucky" true. Thank you for blessing me with such good CDs in October, Oh My Vampire Emperor(idk im atheist)!! The new Elfensjón CD also dropped today and it was banger as always.
I also counted how many covers I have made on youtube this year, a whopping 44 on my own channel alone! I also have appeared in 19 collabs. Very busy vampire!
This year, blog wise, I published (after the release of tomorrow, which has been queued already to coincide with Noëls birthday) 8 x 13 posts, which is 104 posts. And I got 4,62K views! Sure have been a busy bee! This is the first year I crossed the 100 mark in amount of posts haha, and will probably also be the last hahaha, I should tame my lunacy. This year also is a year of completion. Before the M3 releases (and possibly Comiket99 releases), I had completed the entire repetoire of both -LostFairy-, Komatsu Rina and Symholic, which means at that time, 24 full CDs and 3 standalone songs / Single song CDs in a little less than 2 years almost all by myself. *gives self a headpat* whoa, I'm impressive lmao. Due to the new releases, this will soon become 26 CDs, and hopefully I can scrape the money together *cough* 1500 yen, to buy Rina's CD, december sure is an expensive month.
I have good news for the Genkaku Aria and -LostFairy- fans, I'm working on the new Cross Fantasia, I have done the kanji and romaji already, I have 5 songs left to translate and the story to do :), which means I have space for 7 posts in january, which i will probably fill in with Genkaku Aria ! I will probably use the space to translate the Merveilles (lol same as -LostFairy- whoops, now I've used the tag for that already) CD of Genkaku Aria, which is my favourite CD from them. Please look forward to that! After that I will probably go back on hiatus, depending on how my grad project is going and if I feel like translating. The last Symholic CD definitely used so much of my CPU and RAM, I think I need to download more RAM lmao.
Every year... I promise myself to properly index, layout and SEO my own blog, but I just don't have the energy to do that sometimes. I hope for 2022 that I can continue to post and get my shit together to fix the issues above. I have made a subreddit to index, but I keep forgetting to post there because I don't want to be a reddit-addict lol.
So for now, I wish you all a very very Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year in advance and may LuckyAurora be with you with a lot of translations in 2022 <3
Love,
LuckyAurora
