冥刻ミゼリア (meikoku mizeria) - Miseria of the Darkest Hour - Romaji and Translation

Interesting song, the text is so gothic but it feels more like a folk song. It kind of feels out of place in the album.

I think the song is about a doll which belonged to a little girl that lived in the village that had "gone to die". The doll is now ownerless and just watches the days go by, still as a doll is. She just observes life, while she cannot move on her own. The girl who passes by the doll and hopes that they will someday get souls probably is Priscilla.

A part of the spoken lines were written out in the booklet, those have been explicitly stated here. The other lines are deduced by me and I do not write them out in kanji in general unless I'm 100% sure.

ningyou no watashi wa tsuieta machi de tatazumu
meikoku ni dake kurayami kara mezameru
... marude ningen no you

I, just a doll, stand in a crumbling city
only in the darkest hour, I awaken from the darkness
... almost like a human

furubita ude wo ugokasu koto mo dekizu ni
tada 「sei」to「shi」 ga kaze to tomo ni sugisaru

I cannot even move my ancient arms
I only pass through "Life" and "Death" with the wind

ikusen no hoshi wo kazoete
nemurenai yoru ni yume wo utau

I count countless stars
and on nights I cannot sleep, I sing out my dream

itami kakaete koko ni iru yo zutto
kono sakebi ga kikoeru nara dareka watashi wo tsurete itte
minareta keshiki no mukou de wa kitto
yume no tsudzuki ga mireru hazu... sou shinjite tooi kioku wo tadoru

I will be here forever, carrying my pain
someone, if you hear my screams, then take me with you
Beyond this scenery, which has gotten so familiar, surely,
I should be able to see the continuation of my dream... Believing that, I pursue my distant memories

furubita ashi wo ugokasu koto mo dekizu ni
tada 「sei」to「shi」 ga kaze to tomo ni sugisaru

I cannot even move my ancient legs
I only pass through "Life" and "Death" with the wind

gin'iro no tsuki wo nagamete
nemurenai yoru ni yume wo utau

I gaze at the silvery moon
and on nights I cannot sleep, I sing out my dream

yuukyuu no toki wo kasanete
iroasenu towa no yume wo negau

As the perpetual time goes on
I wish for a unfading dream of eternity

jiyuu ni toberu tsubasa ga areba kitto
ugokenai watashi demo kono sekai wo miwataseru no ni

If I had wings that could fly freely, then surely
even I, who cannot move now, could have a view over this world

Suddenly a shadow of a person visited me and gently touched me
with her thin, ash stained fingers

karen de hakanagena shoujo wa...
"Itsuka ningyou ni mo tamashii ga yadoru to ii ne"
chiisaku tsubuyaki yami ni kieteku...

The sweet and fragile girl... softly whispered
"It hope that dolls will have souls too, someday"
and disappeared into the darkness...

Dolls don't know life and death, but once you notice them, they are always by your side
