M3 hype 13: 18...Other releases... (breathes in)

I'm a lunatic blog vampire, I know, I outputted 13 posts written on the spot in less than 36 hours.

 So I'll quickly glance over the other releases I'm hyped for but not hyped for enough to feature in a separate post lol. As I was writing the post... the list kept getting longer... my own grave is being dug by myself lol. But at least I will have good music in my grave

1. Sugar Bunny* - 最低な明日におはよう / Starry Parade (Saitei na Ashita ni Ohayou/Starry Parade)

Omg it's so cute I'm melting! And wow I finally know where I know mameko from, from Baby Romantica, a great Aitsuki Nakuru x Mameko album! Talking about Aitsuki Nakuru, again, I haven't seen the announcement of a solo album sadly.

2. Kotono - まいどりーむきんぐだむ！ (My dream kingdom!)

More cuteness coming your way! This time it's a full song! Part of a mini-album release for next M3 and hey another familiar name! Chiru:D!

3. 朝木ゆう（Euphony*) Asagi Yuu - フユアカリ  (Fuyuakari) 

 

TSU KA GO SHI ! No other words needed.

4. 咲良ゆの (Sakura Yuno) - Replica Blue. 

 Nice eurobeat/trance vibes. also... TSUKAGOSHI TSUKAGOSHI TSUKAGOSHI! That Tsukagoshi progression at the end of the part of Tsukagoshi's song lol!

5. お月さま交響曲 (Otsukisama Koukyoukyoku) - ESPERANZA

 I really like Otsukisama Koukyouikyoku as well, I think I own the album MONOLOGIA and I really like the symphonic/epic/orchestral vibes they produce. And oh yeah, ALICO ALICO ALICO!!

6.  konoco - Vivi≠de

 

Shinra Bansho nice! Very pretty art as well! Not many other comments

7. Vivid Lila - White as Snow

Nayuta on vocals of track 3 and 4! I have the feeling that I know that Itsuki, I think it's the Itsuki from La Prière!

8. Nakamura Meiko's release, I havent seen a XFD, but count me hyped if she releases something. Apparently she's also known as 水夏える.

9. 創作堂さくら紅葉 - Vert Noir 

Hey! It's Yura! And sioborn again, and Kokomi! Sounds like a pretty good CD!

10. SeriouS - Sentimental4

 FripSide/Eurobeat vibes! Nice!! This definitely is a very nice album! I can't say I knew any of the names before but hey, good music needs recognition

11.StudioComodo - Railway

As a kid vampire I was a huge train otaku, I guess that is why this CD also appealed to me. The rock vibes though are very nice :3

12. BlackY ft. Risa Yuzuki - Imitator

Wow I knew Risa Yuzuki had a beautiful voice, but she also is a powerhouse!!! I knew her from Ariabl'eyes (and also from her previous CD with BlackY, but didn't really listen to her a lot). I started appreciating her voice a lot since the Belial CD.

13. s1dou - Stella

Another CD with many familiar names. The Sakura and Nayuta tracks are hmm..... but the rest is pretty nice! Nayuta, Risa Yuzuki, okogeeechann, I mean... ocogeeechann!!

14. Eugen Scarlet / Eugenics Scarlet Divinity - 黒翼のアストレア -Night Wing Astraea-

MORE SENNZAI AND METAL.. even though this is a little wild for me, I usually listen to Gothic metal... I can still appreciate it when I'm in the correct mood for it!!

15. At the Garret - The guest of Honour

Ooh nice and spooky and gothic! 19th century england heh, means it's probably set in the Victorian era!

16.  ARForest×nayuta - Imaginary Arcadia

Nayuta! It's a pretty nice CD. I really love the cover art and I like the greek titles. Aorist = Past time, Telos = the end, Hyle probably refers to the sun, but my greek isn't that good xD.


17. 箱々症候軍 (HakoBakoShowKohGun) - iDéal

Wow nice. The vocals are a bit high, but generally nice! How does this count as Visual Kei lol... This is power metal in my ears lol.

18.  U-hey Seta - Stardust Dancefloor

 
Nice. Drop the beat!

*pants*, i have been writing and formatting for over an hour.  I think there might be other nice releases, but I'm stopping at 18 here, because i have featured 12 other artists already lol. I think this is a M3 I will never forget <3!

M3 hype 12: 削除(Sakuzyo) and Elfensjón

Listen to this FANCY XFD! I don't listen to Sakuzyo that often, but I play the maps on beatsaber a lot! I think especially their compositions that lean to gothic are very nice. This CD is more of a traditional one, I don't really listen to traditional Japanese/Chinese stuff, but mixed with more modern instruments I actually like it (think Xorsizer/Wagakki band/ Some Love Live! songs). Literally the song titles use the ancient Japanese kanji for numbering.

I like how the titles are all 4 word compounds and only the first one is a 4 word one. The violin in song 2 is so fancy!And 6 really got me.

Bonus: Elfensjón! Another circle I've been following since the release of their first album. I really love Kazuya's voice so I stayed for that after ASH OF ROUGE, and they definitely have not disappointed me. STYX is amazing, love the twin vocal song of okogeeechann and kazuya. 

There is not much known about this album, but I saw Astral and Elisia, so let's go! I'm in for a ride! I might edit the post later when more is available! I wonder if a proper XFD will come out soon...

Oh apparently the release is winter 2021.. nevermind, but hey at least they deserve a hype page.

M3 Hype 11: Polyfortune (Hinode from Pratanallis) and U-RASIA

I think this is the second non-gothic CD I featured in these past few posts. The reason I feature this is because of Komatsu Rina of course AND because of Meramipop!!!!

A really cute CD that I saw in Rina's retweets on twitter. I thought, art looks cute, let's have a look! What a chill CD. I think it's actually 2>3>1 for me this time, I didn't expect to like it this much!

Immediately after listening to this XFD to write this post to, autoplay was like: Imma give you more bangers. Everyone that knows me well enough knows that I actually also love Eurobeat secretly haha. Some of the tracks are Eurobeat like J-pop tracks! Wow that hit!

I couldn't read the title at first... I had to go to the official website and I realised... the album name is Autumn 2021 MIX... welp. On the vocalists we have some names I know! Sakura Yuno, Haduki Ryouhei and Tsukino! Tsukino also did the illustration!! nice! I also like how each song has the BPM listed. Why do I secretly hope there will be osu! maps and arcade maps of this album haha.

M3 hype 10: 月乃（Tsukino)

We continue mercilessly, there are too many good albums to let go unnoticed. I first discovered Tsukino with her first album iirc, which was Selene and got really interested in her work after her second album: a sailor moon cover album. I however have NEVER gotten the chance to get my hands on it. It still pains me till today. It has been over 2.5 years.. That aside... Beatrice my god, what a banger album. MORE VAMPIRES, LOOK AT THEM FANGS, oh wait no it's a devil... VAMPIRE DEVIL... and the seven sins I guess haha..

"How many sins must I count before I can see you again?"

Pride, Envy, Wrath, Sloth, Greed, Gluttony and Lust. The devil of the seven sins laughs.
The cogwheels of each are now in motion.

"Now, what is the end of sin?"

"The seven deadly sins are the theme of this Album!"

Yes I guess so, lol, I tried to connect each sin to a song purely melody wise. It wasn't easy! The order in which they are stated above is the order in which the songs connect to the sins. And the prologue... is the laugh of the devil.. I don't see many names I knew before, Hatsuki Ryouhei and Feryquitous are the ones I know. It's very hard to order them in order in which I like them, I think... it's gonna be...

(prologue = 0, we don't do matlab here, and it's also not monday. Aurora starts counting at 2 on mondays... true story, ask my office mate)

M3 hype 9: TatshMusicCircle

 I first started liking Tatsh when I heard the crossfade of エインヘリャルの蝶と異世界幻術姫 (Einherjar no Chou to Isekai Genjutsu Hime). That CD is god tier, Oda Yuu's vocals especially wow. Hoshino Kanako's voice is also really nice! And those violins in the back of Psychedelic Butterfly are impressive. I still listen to Psychedelic Butterfly and Shinjitsu no Hitomi a lot! And I play some Tatsh songs when I see them in the Arcade lol.

So, I joined the premiere of the XFD and don't regret being surprised by how good this was!!!!! Check out the XFD here:

So... the XFD kicks off with Starry night, not bad, once in a blue moon is also not bad! Then!!! Okogeeechann voicing Dim of grey!! I like how her avatar looks, it kind of looks like Elisia from Elfensjón! I have a weak spot for Elisia so I guess I'm a little biased :P! AND THEN... KOMATSU RINA, WOW SHE LOOKS SO PRETTY! Her voice fits the song perfectly!! If that wasn't enough surprise, we have NA YU TA! AND I ACTUALLY LIKE TRACK 10 A LOT AS WELL, very very nice beat! So for now I'd say 5>3>10>1>6=8! I wonder how the rest sounds... also VIVE Wonderland... now I have a HTC Vive I had to grin at the title, I wonder if it has something to do with it :P, I mean Tatsh is also known for his activity as Vive Ambassador :P and ofc with Vtubers.

M3 hype 8: Tokyo.Meltimelt

Wow, Tokyo.Meltimelt seems to lure in many singers I like! First Yura, then Nayuta and this time they have Sennzai on vocals. I remember that my first Sennzai song ever was in a Aitsuki Nakuru album, Applephilia no Himegoto, which really is a banger. Paradise Lost is still one of my favourite songs ever. I wonder if Aitsuki Nakuru will ever sing for Tokyo.Meltimelt... I'll put my guesses below for who I think will provide vocals for Meltimelt haha.

Nameless Replica sounds so good!!! The heavy gothic metal background! Lovely. Virgin Mary <3, a bit more of a symphonic ballad, but definitely nice as well! I wish I could listen to the full tracks already!! They will probably be on spotify so hey nice!

M3 hype 7: Hatsuki Yura

The past years I haven't really been listening to Yura's newer CDs, because they were a little too experimental for me. There were some good CDs that I listen to a lot though, but sadly not as many as I hoped. I think since Snow/Onyx Veil or maybe Mirage Doll are the last CDs I purchased. The other CDs were not really my taste. Until Asymmetry, that was an amazing CD! Oracle and Witchcraft were pretty nice as well, but I tend to only like the Drop and Tsukagoshi songs lol. Oh and the Jazz songs were amazing as well. Since Meriole closed her blog I might pick this CD, but I ain't promising anything. The other things I've translated from Yura were Symholic stuff, so those lyrics and vibes were totally different... I'll think about it.

So moving on to the impression

The XFD is quite interesting, it's not as experimental as usually. This time it's Drop that composed the intro and outro . I don't think I have heard of sioborn before, but hey track 2 is quite nice. Apparently it was used in another CD, of which I never knew it existed... I can't find mp3s of it anywhere either... so rip. I am broke maybe someday I'll buy it. Fall to the dark side is decent, a little too experimental for my taste but okay. But track 4 is a banger actually! I never heard of Ako before, but I love the good chaos going on! I think this is my favourite song of the album. Arcana 15, The Angel of Slaughter, the devil, cool song! I want to dedicate this song to a certain character in Trails in the Sky.... Track 6? Banger! Meriole once said I always liked the Drop song the most out of every CD haha, she is right though, this is almost paralleling the Ako song. I really like the fast part in chorus. The typical Drop progressions heh. Noice. I'm a bit sad there is no Tsukagoshi song, but hey, I definitely like this album!!
