M3 hype 7: Hatsuki Yura

The past years I haven't really been listening to Yura's newer CDs, because they were a little too experimental for me. There were some good CDs that I listen to a lot though, but sadly not as many as I hoped. I think since Snow/Onyx Veil or maybe Mirage Doll are the last CDs I purchased. The other CDs were not really my taste. Until Asymmetry, that was an amazing CD! Oracle and Witchcraft were pretty nice as well, but I tend to only like the Drop and Tsukagoshi songs lol. Oh and the Jazz songs were amazing as well. Since Meriole closed her blog I might pick this CD, but I ain't promising anything. The other things I've translated from Yura were Symholic stuff, so those lyrics and vibes were totally different... I'll think about it.

So moving on to the impression

The XFD is quite interesting, it's not as experimental as usually. This time it's Drop that composed the intro and outro . I don't think I have heard of sioborn before, but hey track 2 is quite nice. Apparently it was used in another CD, of which I never knew it existed... I can't find mp3s of it anywhere either... so rip. I am broke maybe someday I'll buy it. Fall to the dark side is decent, a little too experimental for my taste but okay. But track 4 is a banger actually! I never heard of Ako before, but I love the good chaos going on! I think this is my favourite song of the album. Arcana 15, The Angel of Slaughter, the devil, cool song! I want to dedicate this song to a certain character in Trails in the Sky.... Track 6? Banger! Meriole once said I always liked the Drop song the most out of every CD haha, she is right though, this is almost paralleling the Ako song. I really like the fast part in chorus. The typical Drop progressions heh. Noice. I'm a bit sad there is no Tsukagoshi song, but hey, I definitely like this album!!

M3 Hype 6: Seraph

Seraph has also consistently been producing good stuff. Not even bias because I think it was an amazing idea to add Paspal and Hinode to the roster! LifeRubato is so nostalgic, they used to do choruses for -LostFairy- This CD is truly a banger, it's really eerie, that Komatsu Rina laugh at the beginning, wow haha. Did I ever say how good I think Miku sounds in her low register!

 Take me or I take you... I love the song Paspal made.. it's amazing! My favourite probably! Candy witch is also pretty nice, I love how Miku changes between her higher and lower voice in the same song. The goth vibes so good! The high G5! Beautiful. Night Queen is probably the least favourite of the bunch. It kind of sounds more Emiru to me than Seraph, it's not bad though! The melody just seems off from the accompaniment sometimes. The chorus though, banger, I love heavy drums! For the last song, I have the same feeling with the melody feeling off, but maybe it gets better in the full version! Well to rank everything, it will probably be 1>>2>4>3. We shall see!

This will probably be a CD I will listen to often!

M3 Hype 5: Ariabl'eyes

Quite a short post for Ariabl'eyes, the CD literally only has 2 tracks.

Nonetheless, great XFD!

Gothic vibes yeeeeeeeaahh!! Sadly Rena didn't return in this CD (yet), but I really like Risa Yuzuki's voice as well for Ariabl'eyes in general! Song 2 is sung by her. Luna sings song 3. In general this is gonna be a solid release I guess, this is the kind of music I love so I think I'll have a lot of fun listening to the CD.

Current impression: song 2> song 3 lol.

M3 Hype 4: Komatsu Rina

OH MY GOOOD VAMPIRE RINA! FINALLY RINA HAS JOINED MY KIND! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS CD ALREADY!  Pure vampire bias? maybe xD?

Anyway moving on... The art is really pretty, I love the gothic aesthetic and the entire gothic theme of the CD. I was fangirling really hard at the premiere!!!! 30 minutes before it started i already went into the chat with "waku waku" haha.

You don't want to know how hard I fangirled at the first song. SO GOTHIC!!! I immediately recognised the Tsukagoshi progression lol, big fan of Tsukagoshi! AND Rina's high notes <3<3<3!!!!! THOSE HIGH F5 and G5!!!! WOW! Then I fangirled at track 2 because I saw 【S】's name from Eclipseed / Hearty Smile Factory, as you know I'm also a big fan of Hoshio Yuka! Then at song 3 I was like wow, this is kind of a ballad, wow Paspal wrote this! I love those harmonies! Song 4?! Continue fangirling! Tatsh!!!! This goth metal ish vibe is great! Track 5...? Where? Track 6!!!! WOW IT'S  SAIGO NO JOOU! KUROUSA P!!! WOW IT SOUNDS SO GOOD WITH RINA'S VOICE. It's originally a vocaloid song with Megurine Luka that I knew from my older Vocaloid times haha. 7 is of course, maoudamashii, normally maoudamashii songs were always the favourites of the rina cds for me, but this time... nope the tides have turned!

I'd say my order of like in the XFD is: 1>>>>EVERYTHING. Nah joke 1>6>4=3>2>7

I was kind of afraid this would be a super sweet CD again at first, but WOW I never expected such goth greatness, Rina really has outdone herself. Komatsu Rina I love youuu <3

M3 Hype 3: Symholic/Xorsizer Xrossover CD

Immediately moving on to Symholic! OH MY GOD THIS IS A MA ZING! The 10th and 4th cd of Symholic and Xorsizer is a Xrossover between the two. Paspal and Lalue finally "meet" eachother after the zenith has been brought down to zero (and i dont know the rest of the stories of the Xorsizer CDs yet).

Our dear Paspal from Symholic≠Xorsizer has made an amazing set of compositions again. This time the CD is titled:『X-邂逅せし双璧の剣影-』I'm not sure how you pronounce the last word... but my current guess for romanisation X - Kaikouseshi Souheki no Claydmore (?) ).

I think it's quite a good point for a crossover. X = 10, and the X is also of Xorsizer. X means clash, but X also means death, which is a homophone of 4! I'm not sure if Paspal had that all in mind, but if he did, impressive!

I love skill songs in the XFD, but not much beats a duet between Paspal and Lalue. I LOVE HOW RINA HITS THOSE HIGH NOTES AHHHH. Then song 2 is of course lalue related, how could it not be without a -logy ending ;P. Awful blade is ofcourse linked to Xorsizer, Virgin to Lalue. Resonance <3, I love it, this is really the "Symholic" vibe but then with Paspal's voice.   I can't even choose my favourite song but I think I'm going for 1 > 5 = 2 = 3 > 4? No idea.... I want to hear the full songs already!!!!!!!

X? Will this melody still reach you? Who knows...

Soirée was one of my favourite songs of Madrigale, so it's quite logical haha. I really look forward to this CD! Only 5 more days... ish!! 

Of course this CD will be translated as soon as I can get my hands on it. The story will be translated as usual, the characters will be introduced as usual and the 5 new songs will also be translated! Soon (tm)! I promise!

BIG FAT M3 HYPE, BEST M3 EVER
